My Review: LaseRenu treatment for Underarm Whitening

I have been looking for a good underarm lightening treatment for years. Maybe this is the reason that my underarms have gone through too much trauma of all the whitening soaps/creams, bleaching and peeling treatments.

A friend recommended to go to Dr. Margaret Corcoran, a dermatologist in Makati. And since her clinic is just a few blocks away from my office, I went one day and consulted with her. She suggested LaseRenu treatment. It's a new laser for skin lightening and it can be used in any part of the body, including the underarms. The laser creates micro-channels on the skin for the nanotechnology serum to penetrate easier and target the pigments under the skin. The treatment would result in skin lightening in as little as 5 sessions, and can be done every 10-14 days. I signed up for their 10-day interval treatment for 5 sessions. I'm happy with the results.

The treatment wasn't painful. There was a little redness after each session, but went away in a few hours. I would recommend it to those who have tried every other treatment out there and have gone very frustrated with the results.

My Review: Baked Bun With Bbq Pork @Tim Ho Wan

I'm a working girl in Makati and I have a very busy schedule. So maybe all the people in the city have tried Tim Ho Wan at this time, but I had the first chance of trying their famous "Baked Bun with Bbq Pork" when I happened to pass by Glorietta 3 for an errand. I figured, this is the only chance and the line was not that long, so I went for it.

The bun was pillowy soft, firm and not oily (which is what I like). The bun crust reminds me of a pastry dish. The bbq pork and sauce are so tasty. One order consists of 3 buns, but I may be able to eat 2 orders of it! LOL!

Too bad I didn't have time to eat at the restaurant, and had to just take these buns out to try. I will definitely come back to have lunch or dinner with my friends here.
